Effective March 1, 2017, the Ohio Department of Health requires that at least one person, per facility, with supervisory and management responsibility has a Level II Food Safety Training Certificate. We utilize food safety education and certification from ServSafe® of the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation.
Menu Management Solutions is certified by the State of Ohio Department of Health as a provider of the Level I and Level II Food Safety Certification Training Program.
Our training opportunities
Choose from the following training courses to ensure your staff is well educated to provide a safe and satisfactory experience for your guests.
ServSafe Food Handler - Level I
The Person-in-Charge (Level I) Certification in food protection provides basic safety and food handling training including personal hygiene, controlling time and temperature, preventing cross-contamination, cleaning and sanitizing. It is recommended for entry level food workers and takes approximately 3 hours to complete. An examination is administered at the end and upon passing participants receive a certificate.
ServSafe Manager - Level II
Manager (Level II) Certification training provide more-depth training covering additional topics including the flow of food and safety management systems and is recommended for supervisors and/or managers who will be directing and controlling food service preparation in your operation. Those who complete the course and pass the exam will receive the ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certificate which is valid for five years and an Ohio Department of Health Level II Food Safety Training Certificate.
ServSafe Alcohol
This instructor led program provides training for bartenders, servers, hosts, bussers, valets, bouncers, and all front-of-house staff to recognize and effectively and safely handle difficult situations in your operation. The course is approximately 4 hours and includes an exam. Participants who pass the examination will receive a ServSafe® Alcohol Certificate Card.
ServSuccess
We provide Proctoring services for ServSuccess which is comprehensive hospitality career-development program offering featuring three levels of professional certification, online training, and assessments.
